I am Italian born and bread. I hold a 4-year degree in Translation and Interpreting awarded by the School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators, University of Trieste, Italy. My working languages are English and Portuguese. I worked as a freelance translator and English teacher in Trieste for several years before moving to the UK.
After completing a post-graduate degree in Innovation Management at the University of Udine, Italy, I moved to the UK in 2010 for work and study. I worked for one of the top-20 leading language services provider worldwide for nearly five years and completed my MA in TESOL Studies part-time at the University of Leeds. Since 2016, I have been translating part-time, in the evening and during the week-end. Although I cannot take on last minute assignments with tight deadlines, I am happy to recommend other linguists within my network who may be able to meet your translation requirements.
I am based in Leeds where I have been living since 2011. I regularly go to Italy to visit my family and friends and keep up with the language.
